Laylatul Qadr

Laylatul Qadr

Tonight is the 29th night of Ramadhan…

One of the final odd nights, and possibly Laylatul Qadr —

The Night that is better than a thousand months.

 It’s not too late.

Not too late to turn your heart toward Allah.

Not too late to take one sincere step that could transform your akhirah forever.

Tonight is a precious opportunity —

to be counted among those freed from the Fire,

 whose du’as are accepted,

whose souls are drawn nearer to their Lord.

So raise your hands with full hope and humility, and say:

Ya Allah, forgive me.

Ya Allah, guide me.

Ya Allah, make me among those who never part from Your Book.

Repeat this beautiful du’a often throughout the night:

اللهم إنك عفو تحب العفو فاعف عني

Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa‘fu ‘anni

“O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love to forgive — so forgive me.”

May Allah accept your worship, shower you with His mercy, and make this night a source of lasting transformation for you and your loved ones. Aameen.
