Being a Good Companion

Being a Good Companion

Just as we seek righteous companions, we must strive to be good friends to others. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “None of you [truly] believes until he loves for his brother what he loves for himself.”

(Bukhari, Muslim)

Being a good companion means:

  • Offering sincere advice and encouragement.
  • Refraining from gossip and slander.
  • Being trustworthy and supportive.
  • Uplifting others in times of difficulty.
