Reach for the Divine Love

When we return to Allah, Allah will not judge us in terms of what people think of us. He will judge us as He knew how we were. But Allah loves us. He is Ar-Rahman when He created us, He is Ar-Rahman when He puts us on this earth, He is Ar-Rahman when we meet Him. Look at this world. The entire universe is the manifestation of the divine love.

Do you love it when someone gives you a rose? Allah gives you the forest! You are so happy when someone gives you something, and you thank that person. Allah has given us the entire universe but we forget Him.

Even if the whole world loves us but Allah doesn’t, then we have lost. You have one goal in life, which is the moment you die you are the most beloved to Allah. If you don’t have His love, then you have lost every moment in your life. We are not created to stay here forever. The people around you are in your life because they are either your hasanat (good deeds) or sayyi’at (bad deeds).

This world is not about you; it is about Allah. If Allah doesn’t love you, then you have lost everything. There are people working day and night for His love. They don’t talk about it or post it. You have to work for His love. The only obstacle between you and Allah is YOU, not the internet, not the social media, not the masjid.

O Allah, indeed, I ask You for Your love and the love of those who love You, and for the action that will cause me to attain Your love, O Allah, make Your love more beloved to me than myself, my family and cold water. Aameen.
